Do you want to be your best parenting self?
Do you want to feel calmer?
Happier with your decisions?
Confident in how you approach situations?
Parenting is probably the most rewarding role we will encounter during our lives. Knowing that we’re nurturing and guiding our children to be the best version of themselves is an incredible journey to be part of.
It’s also a rollercoaster of emotion and one of the greatest challenges we choose to engage with.
There’s no right way to parent.
Each of our families has its unique blueprint as we all do individually. However, there are approaches and strategies that help us, as parents, to help ourselves and ensure that our journey together is as smooth, enjoyable and impactful as we can make it.
As a single Mum of two (now grown up) girls and a Grandma to two (little) boys, I fully appreciate the struggles and stresses of being a parent as well as the joy and delight it brings.
Parenting can feel lonely at times and we can all fall prey to second guessing ourselves and comparing ourselves to those who seem to have it sussed (spoiler – they don’t!) causing us to feel stressed, guilty and a myriad of other emotions. We end up not being the parents we want our children to have.
Our children are at the heart of everything we do and we all want to give our best but sometimes, our own stuff gets in the way.
Here’s the good news! With a little bit of a nudge, it’s possible to make adjustments that suit you so you can be the parent you want to be more often.
With this in mind, I’ve used my own personal and professional experience (nearly 20 years in education) to develop a programme designed to create co-operative communication between you and your children.
Enjoy less stress, more listening, more confidence and a happier household.
Talking T.A.C.T.I.C.S. gives you seven modules with effective, proven strategies and powerful insights that you can make your own.
The focus is on what we can do to choose our approach so we develop ourselves to gain maximum impact from how we interact with our children.
Talking T.A.C.T.I.C.S. covers motivation, listening, the impact of non-verbal signals, specific talking techniques and more. We also explore the four parenting styles, using the DISC profiling system, to identify strengths and blind spots and consciously develop them.
There are a variety of ways to access the programme to accommodate the best fit for you:
Group coaching – go through the programme as part of a group (maximum 6)
Individual or couples coaching – enjoy a bespoke experience with a follow up call included
Programme self-study – complete at your own pace and in your own time
Individual module self-study- complete modules of your choosing in your own time
